How Could I Not Love Radishes?

About a month ago now, just before the COVID-19 pandemic grocery-buying panic, I bought a large bunch of radishes at Fresh Thyme. Have You Ever Just Craved a Hot Dog?

It started subconsciously. With a conversation in which someone mentioned a hot dog, being fed to gar fish and snapping turtles no less. By evening, I was craving a hot dog. But, I didn’t get a hot dog. The craving stayed with me. Peonies and Ants

The peonies have been blooming in central Minnesota. When I see peonies in bloom, I think of ants. My mom told me that ants are needed to open peony flowers. How cool! A symbiotic relationship, like little sucker fish on bigger fish. But, it’s not necessarily true.
