Hubby and I voted today. It feels good to take part in democracy.
In Minnesota, where we have a tradition of getting out the vote, we make it easy to do so, with automatic voter registration when updating your driver’s license and same-day registration. This consistently puts us at the top of states with a high voter turnout … which is as it should be in a democracy.
We were able to vote early in-person at our City Hall. Plus, they had drive-up voting and a well-marked ballot box to drop off ballots.
Aside from having the right to choose our leaders, one of my favorite parts of voting is the “I Voted” sticker. 🙂

If you have the ability to vote early, I highly recommend it.
