Once I’m on a creative roll with something, I tend to keep it going for a little while until I’m on to something new.
I made three new necklaces within the past few weeks. After seeing them posted here on my blog, a friend expressed an interest in having one, so I made one for them this week. It was a great excuse to go bead shopping and spend time picking out a nice arrangement of beads and pendant for the necklace. Not that I need an excuse to buy beads, mind you, but it’s fun to have the challenge of picking out a bead arrangement for someone else.
Et, voila! Here is my newest necklace:

I have a tendency to like a lot of variety in my bead necklaces but to also make them cohesive with a regular pattern. I appreciate a necklace with enough variety that it can go with several different outfits.
This necklace has been shipped off to the intended recipient. I’m glad I remembered to take photos of it before I stuck it in the mail.
I have three more owl pendants in different colors and am looking forward to the challenge of incorporating them into new necklaces.
