Hubby and I had occasion recently to visit St. John’s Abbey in Collegeville, Minnesota. On our drive in, we saw these fun, quirky, “windswept” house made of sticks: Upon seeing these, I was immediately reminded of illustrations by Dr. Seuss. They’re fabulous! And, apparently, they are not meant to last forever. In fact, they were supposed to be taken down next month, but will remain until next winter. The Year of Creative Reading continues, although not quite as I anticipated. I have been sidetracked by four books that aren’t on my original list of creative books to read for the year. Strike that. As a creative soul, it should not surprise me that I’m getting sidetracked. Because, you know, the library. Because, you know, it’s hard for a creative person to color (or read) within the lines.
