YOCR#7 – The Omnivore’s Dilemma

I don’t think I can go any farther afield in my Year of Creative Reading than “The Omnivore’s Dilemma” by Michael Pollan. I spotted it at the library (best place to serendipitously find books other than a book store), having wanted to read it for a while, and checked it out. And renewed it and renewed it again. On our drive in, we saw these fun, quirky, “windswept” house made of sticks: Upon seeing these, I was immediately reminded of illustrations by Dr. Seuss. They’re fabulous! And, apparently, they are not meant to last forever. In fact, they were supposed to be taken down next month, but will remain until next winter.
